http://cgi.ebay.com/Windsurfing-ADJ-...item4aa5c52c2e Anyone tried these out of taiwan? I'm curious if they hang straight down from the boom. I've had bad luck with dakine lines that are stiff and stick out from boom at angle. This makes it too easy to hook in accidentally. The only lines I've tried that hang down neutrally are the adjustable sailwork with same cleat as the lines in the link above. I don't mind the flopping - prefer it actually to the ones that rigidly stick out. |

Rachel at The Windsurf Shop in Singapore sells them (or can get them). The Sailworks ones are a bit girly and will "flop" about on the boom. Remember to clean the sand out of the plastic tubes from time to time. And whatever you spend, the canvas straps will still wear out and break. Then you throw them away ! |

Hmmmm... What do you expect to get with the original Advanced Technology lines (from Mr. Ueda in Japan), that you will not get with the exact same device (the jamb cleat with the turning roller sheave in it) with the Sailworks version? Just curious! Roger |
