| Farlo | You're welcome. I've been using 32+36 fins with Naish Sprint 5.5 to 7.3 so I guess it will work for you as well. At a later stage (moreover if you get heavier) you may like another fin ~40 to maximize the wind range, but this is a good start. | |

| Farlo | A 34cm fin will work with an underpowered 5.5 and an overpowered 7.2 but you may not enjoy it at both ends of your wind range. IMHO ideal sizes for your sails/weight would be 30/31+36/37, quite a large gap however. You can probably reduce it to 32+36 as Naish Sprint 5.5 is still "at ease" in 20 knots. | |

Lots are using the Talon on the PWA with great results. 36cm-high wind, 37cm med wind or 38cm light wind, take your pick by preference for your area/conditions. But it will be hard to get one fin to work 100% in 8-20 knots, if you really only want one fin, then take a middle sized fin

Tectonic talon fin for IS97 Hi all I just found out about tectonic talon fin and apparently it receives rave review for it good upwind an all round performance. I plan to get this fin but not sure of the optimum size for my IS 97. My sail quiver is 7.2 m NP H2 and 5.5 m Naish sprint and i weigh about 54 kg. The place where i surf is at open sea and the wind usually blows about 8-20 kts with current about 2-3 kts. Appreciate your advice on this. Thanks in advance.
