basher I love this board too, but I am a lightweight at about 70kgs, so I use the Kode 86 in marginal wave or bump and jump conditions, usually with a 5.2 or 4.7.
And for these sail sizes, I use a Chocco Starfish fin at 22cms.
The Starfish shape is a crossover profile, similar to an onshore wave fin, but with freestyle pretentions.
Since I put the fin in my board, it has never been out!
For heavier sailors on the same sails you might want the next size up.

PrydeMan You will need a smaller fin for those sail sizes. I find the 25cm natural wave fin can get big for a 5m sail. I've used a 23cm natural wave fin for my 4.5m sail and it worked great.

Default Kode 86
I agree with others, Kode 86 is an awesome board.
Used with different fins a great do-it-all machine for early planning, super speed, radical jibes, lively sailing on moderate waves, easy jumping AND great comfort thanks to the new footstraps and pads. wow.

My weight is 85 kg.
I tried it with MFC Freewave 28cm and 6.2 sqm as well as with the original drake freewave fin and 5.3 sqm.

My question: Do I need another fin for 4.5 sqm 3.7 sqm sailing?

Thank you.
