Unregistered I`m not convinced about recommending 103 litres for a 103 kg sailor; sure it would work and work well in good conditions but it reflects situation with high wind/wave boards for heavy weights...There isnt the choice available for over 100kg people..

A 80kg sailor would have an 80 litre board but only for quite high winds/big waves...He`d have a 90 (ish) wave board for general use.. (mathematically thats akin tro 115 ish for 103kg)

If the 113 was more wave biased I`d recommend it but it aint ????!!!

Is there a 115 litre wave board on market ???

Unregistered i think u should look at the 102/103 for the sail sizes you list. the width makes up for a lot of volume in planing power and still rips turns. A/E box lets you use real wave fins. i'm 95kg and love my 102 0n 5.8, 6.3 7.0. you will still slog it home if yhe wind dies.

I`m 103kg and thinking of this board to replace 105 litre wave board.. Sail will be mainly 5 to 6 metre but occasionally 4.5 and very occasionally 4.2 !!!

Intermediate to advanced sailor. (Advanced in yewars anyhow )

I'm looking for the same thing, seems to me manufactures are forgetting about us 100Kg plus sailors when it comes to high winds & wave sailing.

Unregistered Probably a bit different but I used kombat 105 as high wind board for 2 or 3 seasons. It was fine, no problems down to 4.2; ideal around 5 to 6 with 100k on it..

Any board is completely different in nearly all respects with "heavyweights" on them.. Sail range (IMO) for a 100k rider is perhaps 1 metre smaller (upper and lower) compared to an 80k rider..

I`ve considered kode myself !!! 113 or 103 ???? (113 is Tuttle !!!)

MOP I have a kode 112 2010 wood karbon: I have used it with 8.0(fairly good match) 6.5(perfect match) and 5.5(fairly god match with a 33 cm fin) All ncx.

Maybe its possible to go even smaller if you take an even smaller fin?

By the way - the board is both fast and loose.

113 code

I have a 2011 code 113 wood, and use it with a 7.2 and 6.0. Have used it in flat water and choppy conditions.
Haven't tried any smaller sail size on it though. But think a 5.2 will be OK. For smaller sizes I would have considered a less vol. board. My weight is 80 kg. The code 113 has a "loose" feeling and is very maneuverable. Nice and easy for fast small radius jiibes and fairly fast. Can recommend this board, bot not for sail sized below 5....
