|Giuseppe||Saturday I've used my kode 86 in total onshore conditions, medium wave and strog wind 23-30 Konts, sails 5.4 and then 4.8 fin 25 and 23 cm. Well the boards rips, great jumps, I've have had a great impression during the jibe in super choppy water, the board is always easy also when I was overpowered very nice sensation. At full speed you can jump really high! Ok is not a pure multi fins wave board, but is a real allroud board. Bad super choppy wave, good windsurfing day with my kode 86.|

ok thanks I am really interested to konow general impression, in my experience probably this board is the "idilliac one board", this means that we are really near to our dream the "one board", impossible? Mha we will see in the future.

Hi Penny thanks hihihi, I really love my kode. I speak a bad english but I can try to said my impression, I am happy when I put my board Kode 86 into my car, I am happy when I can say to my self
"ok Giuseppe today you can take only one board, and if you find more wind or waves than previsous is not a problem". Last year I've pusched my kode to the limit, 2 metres of wave side off and 3.6, fin 22cm. This don't means that you can't go, but is better take a pure wave board.
Let me know

Thanks Giuseppe. It's good to know I can go for the cheaper option without losing any performance.
I loved your quote - "this board is magic for a normal windsurfing day". I think Starboard should use that!

I'm also looking at getting an 86l Kode and have seen a couple about. My choice currently is between the 2010 and 2011 versions. Is the 2011 version better? I'm also 75kg and sail mainly in chop / small waves.

hi there ive been wondering the same thing, are there any real advantages in the 2010 model over the 2009 model of the 86ltr kode ,would it be worth the extra £200? just encase it makes a diffrence i sail in some small waves and large chop i weigh 75 kg

differences between Kode 86 2009 and 2010
what are the main differences ? (mainly for Wood Carbon version)
does the 2010 model bring enough new advantages to make me say "2010 yes, not 2009"?
