This is the threadstarter.
Monday I tried my IS127 with 7,0 and 46cm Drake Ready to Race DW fin. Wind was 13 m/s - 16 m/s. Mastfoot 2,5 cm behind centre. The board behaved very well and speed was occasionally well above 28 kt.
Struggle a little bit to get good angle upwind with this set-up. When going upwind in the chop, the board hammers against it, but the ride is not unpleasant. Going with the chop or with the chop from side, the board is just super.
All in all, this was a very positive experience. This board is really fantastic with sails from 7,0 to 9,5.

|Pelegrin||Friday and tuesday I went out with 127 carbon 2011 with NP Evo ll, 5,5 and it worked ok in bumpy water and 13-15 m/s. The days between it worked ok with Gaastra Vapor 6,7 in 8-13 m/s. Spot is sea but ot open sea. Speed in jump and bump 23-26 knots.|

|Macka Packa||Yep, and i had a ball! Last winter had a VERY gusty day, 5-25kts. I used the 127, 7.0m combo with a 44cm G10 Canefire. I was planing more consistently than most others and I think I pulled a 30kt that day. Just remember to put the mast base a little further forward than the bigger, heavier rigs.|

7,0 on Isonic 127
My weight is 95 kgs, sailing an Isonic 127. Using mainly 9,3 and 8,4. with 50cm and 48cm fin.
Anyone tried a 7,0 full race sail on IS 127 ? and what fin size should be used ?
