futura sizing
 

Hi All
I live far from the nearest test center so test riding is not an option. So if you are picking a board from the range that the Futura's have. Do I use body weight, Sail size, or volume to pick the right size Futura for me.
The board I want to replace is a Carve 111. This board is good for me from 7.0 to 4.2

Can you waterstart? Whats your weight and type of sails you wish to use and lastly at which end of the intended range do you use the most.. e.g more 7m than 4.2 or visa versa? Fresh or salt water and water state conditons? Coastal, sheltered bump and jump?

Generally, knowing very little about your needs (and weight, and skills), look more at the width than the volume when picking a board with similar range.

Yes I waterstart. Weight 175 pounds. 6.0 and 5.0 is most used sail. Bay,salt water, flat to bump and jump
