Quad IQ 69 swallow tail ???
 

Hello,

I notice on the starboard web site pictures that the quad IQ 69 has a swallow tail or this is a mistake ? All the others quad IQ 2011 have a pin tail right ?
And if it's true for the swallow tail, why ?

Last year the quad 2010 were swallow tail except the 66 and the 71 !!!! This year, it's the opposite !
What we can understand ??,

The Q69 indeed has a swallow tail. I shaped this board with the swallow and after some team sailors tried it and liked it a lot, it was decided it would become the 2011 69 liter production board.

There are also many other shape details that differ between this board and the others. The 69 has a single concave, no v, and a lot more rocker fx. Which is not strange since it in effect was developed separately from the others. But regardless, it's a really nice and very radical board.
