F131 vs iS 117wide
 

Hi,

I weigh 100kgs, should I go for Futura 131 or the iSonic 117 wide for a good light wind board on a 8.5m sail? My feeling is for the Futura but has anyone similar tried the isonic?

I also use a F2 Xantos 125L with 6.8m but find it a little sluggish to plane but OK when powered up. So want something faster and also thinking to go bigger sail to 8.5. I also have a 2002 SB Carve 111 which I use with 5.7, 5.1.

In your case, I think that the best option will be the Futura 141, you will be more efficient with the Futura than the iSonic 117 Wide who is really racing machine who is far from what you get until now.

This board is very fast and is my favorite in the Futura line from 8 to 9.2 and I am 92 kgs.
