Is107 or 117?
Hello All

I currently have an F160 and will be ordering an is90, but just wondering what would be the best board for me to go between these 2 boards? is107 or is117? Im 75kg, 180cm tall and want to use sails 6.7,7.8,8.9 on this board. Mainly i will be using 7.8m.

I sail in ocean and wind is always VERY gusty, and quite choppy. Can someone please let me know which board is best for me?
Thank you

The best board of all the range is the iSonic 107 which replaces the 111 from last year. Basicly the same board with just a nice concave on the deck for better handling and lower center of gravity.
The 107 is by far my favorite board of my quiver with the 7.6 and the 8.4. Use it with a Vector Fin Canefire 40cm with the 7.6 and then a 42cm with up to 8.9.
Hope you pick this one.

Only had my 107 for a couple of weeks now. It replaced my older 115 and I ws quite suprised by how different they are. The 115 was and is a fantastic board which is why I kept it for so long but the 107 really has the edge in most areas particularly early planing. It also feels more lively and more on the edge which is a feeling I like. On the downside it is slightly more fiddly to turn but I will get used to that. I cannot wait until it gets its next outing but as this coming weekend has strong NE winds forecast it looks like some waveboard chop bothering in brown mush for me.

Ditto on all the above.

I have an 08 iS 111 and use 6.6, 7.6, 8.4 sails on it. The 7.6 is the sweet spot and the most fun, not too rough, but plenty of speed.

I also have an F160 and jumping from a 9.2 on the 160 to a 7.6 on the iS works well for me. Two boards cover 8 knots to about 22 knots nicely (11.0 sail - 6.6 sail). I weigh 78 kg.

Same here, iS107 well recommended. I'm 100kg/196cm and using 7m, 8m and 9m with Select SL7 39cm and RS7 41cm fins. The iS107 is a special board, v-fast and super easy control:)

Hey Mark

Try the Select S10's on those sizes, much improvement over the SL7/RS7

Hi Maximus

I have been very tempted to try the S11, but the French slalom guys say the S10 is slightly faster and very easy. They also tell me the S11 is good for heavy guys that like loads of back foot pressure (like me). Maybe I go with S10 39cm for stronger days and a S11 41cm for fluky days. I like the S10 47cm on my iS127, nice in rougher water. Too much to choose from:)
