Hi Paul
At 77 kgs you should look at the 117 Wide, your Reflex 8.6 and 7.8 will be perfect Have fun Remi |
Hi Remi
Thank you for the reply. How does it work with the Canefire fins and witch sizes.
Best regards here from windy denmark Paul |
Hi Paul,
Never try this one, can't tell. May be other guys will give you feed back on it. My favorite is R16 46/44 All the best |
Have borrowed a 117, and tried it for the first time today in 17 knots and choppy waters, using R7.8 and Vector 46. What can this board handle in the upper level winds. Felt that I could have sailed iSonic 101also?
|
Hi Paul,
The wind range of the iSonic is quiet big and you can use this board with 7m and 40 fin in strong winds but also with 8.6 with 46 in lighter winds and get good performances ;) All the best |
Thanks Rémi
Day 2 on 117 - 18 knots, R7.8, Finn Vector Canefire 44 light choppy water. Speed and handling was not perfect. After rig tuning, problem was narrowed to the fin. (lots of spinout) Borrowed a F4 D2 44 that removed the spinout but reduced the speed. What to do?? Tried also 117w, my first impression was that it was a little big in gusts!? |
Hi Paul,
As I tell you don't know this fins, but the combination is perfect with 7.8 with a Deboichet R16 42/44. This board like a fin who give you lift, if this ones are in G10 or do not have enough flex and surface in the tip it will be difficult to get the best performances and control Hope this help All the best |
