RE: Evo Active?
Hi giuseppe,
I have a new evo active 80. I am not on that the weight is lighter but the benefit is not here. I have just a session with it seems to be fantastic. Ola can certainly say to you more that about it I on the technology and the boards |
RE: Evo Active?
There are certainly plans for this technology, but as far as I know nothing decided just yet except for the EVOs. The technique has been develpoed and tested in them for many years primarliy by Per Andersson. Some 06 boards were release to team riders world wide for hard real world testing and some 07 boards have been released a slightly extended group of sailors.
As sailpower indicates, lighter weight is not really the main benefit. The main thing is how the boards flex. All good custom builders know that a good flex pattern is essential to the ride of a board. Together with Scotty, the EVO Active flex has been tuned along the whole length of the board to simply offer a better ride. Personally, I love the feel these boards provide. |
