Overdrive 9.7 and mast ? Question fo Remi
 

Hello i want to buy an overdrive 9.7 with my new ultrasonic,
I have a severne redline 490 and the possibility to buy a gaastra mast 520cm imcs 34 100% at good price
I think the bend curve is nearly the same between gaastra and severne but i just see the recomanded mast for this overdrive is a 530 imcs 32 ( gaastra is imcs 34)
So my question is wich is the best mast betwen the redline 490+ extention and the gaastra 520cm

Hi Naturel,

The best mast will be anyway the Severne recommend mast, so the 530 Blue Line or Enigma 530. It works also with the 490 + extender.
Gaastra have similar curve but not identical.

Ok I have also the opportunity to buy a severne ReflexII 9.7.. Is it compatible with my severne red line 490 (2007) + extention ?

Hi Remi,
I just got a brand new OD 9.7;
However i got the old 540 blueline, so I´m cutting it.
Would you cut the tip, or the base?
I´m thinking on cutting the base as I want a softer base... then to rig the OD 11 2008 that I already have I´ll use a tip extension...
Sorry to bother but if you could give me some tips on that.
