Material of the lips in the clipperbox
 

Hi all,
I'm the proud and very satisfied owner of a hybrid formula for some time now.
Just out of curiosity, what is the material that the lips are made of ? (I mean the gum-like part glued to the bottom of the board that avoid water coming up ). Very simple and effective design.
I noticed that putting some teflon spray on it dramatically enhances the daggerboard handling : very smooth and perfect if done regularly (say every 10 sessions, takes 1 minute).

Might it be Lexan ?
