New SUP boards.

Hi!

Can anybody comments on new SUP boards? How they works in compare ... say Exocet Kona? ... or custom SUP boards?
I'm looking for stand up paddle surfboard with possability use it as "superlight wind" windsurfboard with small sail. I'm on US East Coast.

Thanks,

Hi MadRussian,

No replies since your question was posted yesterday, so I thought I would offer a direction that might provide some interesting information to consider. Hot Sails Maui has a forum at the following address that is dedicated to longboard surfing and sailing.

It might be short on direct answers, but I found it worth the time and effort to cruise through the posts. Also, from what I understand, Jeff Henderson of HSM has played an important role in promoting longboard sailing, and from what I gathered, he had some connection with the development of one of Svein's SUP designs.

Lastly, I would also recommend taking the time to check out Giampaolo Cammarota's blog at the following address. He has arguably been one of the leading trendsetters in longboard sailing on Maui.

According to Wardog SB SUP will be available in May. Can anybody from SB comment on this date?
