I don't have a clue.
Sorry, couldn't resist. Never seen it before and it's hard to visualize how it attaches? functions? etc? |
Hi Fin 66 & Ken
Simple for ligther winds, the more outside to get more power (increase planning ability) and more inside to make the reflex system work at the max to get more top end speed. All the best |
since we cannot see whether it is merely further in and out or higher and lower, i will assume it is higher and lower - as in most of these that i have seen
i thought as Remi that is was for wind strengths and leech help however, i have seen the pros discuss it and have seen experiments first hand where the lower clew is better for "shorter" riders and the upper one for "taller" riders AND you can even rig in-between thus you actually have THREE(3) settings and NOT just two(2) !!! try them and see which suits you best and perhaps even under which conditions good winds http://joewindsurfer.com |
Hmmm
The sail is for serious racing. Somehow I predict that everybody is going to use the middle clew where it's easy to put the outhaul adjustment. Then the back clew is going to be in the way and racers are going to cut it away :) |
