Smaller board question

Roger,

I currently own a carve 145 and we will purchasing a Starsurfer 117 for the kids/wife/me. What size would you recommend for the next board down in the Kombat line?

Sail Quiver:
Retro 9.0 and 7.0
Hucker 5.6 and 4.7
Old Cam 1+1 4.0 and 3.5

Sail in New England mostly big chop when the wind kicks up with the occasional wave session.

Hi Peterk,
I think the Kombat 97 fits in your quiver of boards the best.
If you want more high wind capability,, maybe the Kombat 87, but that leaves a big hole from 117 liters to 87 liters.
Yep, I think the K 97 will give you just what you seem to want.
Hope this helps,
