2010 kode 80 or 86
 

hi there i've been pondering over this decision for a while now. i am looking for a fun b&j board which would be a good intro. to waves and freestyle,
i weigh 77kg (depending on the season) and i sail mainly in rough/ smallish mushy wave conditions
any help would be great!!
p.s. is there every much difference between the 2009 and 2010 models of the kode?

hi there i need an answer i will mainly be using with a 5.5 down mushy on-shore waves, i weigh 77kg i can get a new 2010 kode 80 for £599 and the same price for a second hand kode 86 which one should i go for??
p.s. dose the kode 80 feel quite large for it's quoted size and can it cope with freestyle??

For a 5.5m go a k86 as the k80 with this size sail will feel to small and the k80 is more of wave board or high wind board. I've had a k80,86&94 all are great and I would love all of them for their different uses. For bump and jump at 86kg I use a k94 with a 5.6m
