Isonic or S type

I am back with my questions on a new board. In my previous thread, Roger responded initially recommended an Stype, and then moved towards the Isonic. After posting on many other forums, I am not leaning back towards the S type.

Can you describe to me the recommended sailing for each board? I am not a racer, sail mostly a 6.2 on freshwater lake, want to plane early and have fun jibing. I also want to be able to slog back if the wind dies. I weigh 180 lbs, and am a pretty good sailor, no problems with jibes. Also want to be able to stay upwind without a lot of work. I don't do tricks, pretty much back and forth with fun jibes.

Also what size? 6.2 m sail is my max
