WindSUP 12'2 * 30 Freeride

So this does look like an interesting board ...was wondering does this board actually plane?

Will you post some videos of the board in action?

When will they be available?

Cheers

So, I have the original *B 12'2 * 26 SUP with the mast insert and whilst it had OK glide in lightish wind it seems to have a surf rocker and does not plane.

I have/had a number of other WindSUP boards that planed (and had reasonable top end) but did not plane much earlier than a freeride board.

I realise that this is not performance oriented but wIll this board plane in lightish wind or will it still take a fair bit to get it going?

Also will these be available for Australian early season orders?

Cheers

Hi Waterloo,

This board is totally different than the 12'2"x26" with a way more straight rocker and different outline and volume distribution.
Actually my favorite is the one with the soft dagger board who start to plane very fast with the dagger board then when the wind is more strong can plane like a conventional with out dagger board, so on the tail fin.
All the best

Thanks Remi,

Are they now available to order?

Also what is the difference in weight between the two models?

Does one plane earlier than the other?

Hi Remi,

Any info you can share on the weight and performance difference between the two?

Hi Waterloo

Yes you can order the board but to early to give you the exact weight but the dagger board one should be 500g more but get planning earlier due to the length of the soft dagger board who is 55cm.
hope this help

All the best

Why then is the board with the fixed tuttle center fin called the "planing model"? Confusing to say the least!
