Hesitating between AE117 and Exocet Cross 117 ?
 

Hesitating between AE117 and Exocet Cross 117 for sails up to 7.5 or 8.
A detailed comparative of the pro and con of each board would be very useful
Has anyone experienced these two boards and could help choose?

My criteria are in the order: Early planning, the maneuverability, then sail range and last speed.
I also want a durable board.

I have JP FSW 102. Is the gap 102/117 correct or too close?
As I am 75kg would the choice of an AE127 bring me a net or marginal benefit in early planning?

Haven't ridden the Exocet, so I can't comment on that one. As for the 127 or 117, at 75 kilos I don't think the 127 will bring you anything the 117 wount, it will just be more cumbersome in manouvers. I rode my Aero 117 with a 7.5 and that did not feel even close to the limit.
