isonic 122 only 114 liters
Hi,
Is it correct that the isonic 122 has 114 liters? greetings from holland erik |
I can't speak for the 122, but I am told my iS 111 is 108 liters.

ISAF site says it's 114 lit, and they measure boards for competition. It will pose a problem if you're heavy (90-100kg) and use it often in holey winds with, say, a 9.0 or bigger rig. Slogging in these conditions would be difficult. Otherwise, don't worry about it. |
Like Screamer says, it is 114 ltrs. Last years iS122 was 120 ltrs, so its only 6 ltrs less but has a slightly wider tail to compensate. 6 ltrs is going to be real hard to detect on the water unless you have electronic sensors built into your feet LOL.

Now I've seen on another thread Erik is 92 kg. When you add 20-25kg (wetsuit, board + rig weight, etc), it turns out iS122 is a near sinker in dying wind. He has a bigger board, so it's maybe not the most important here.
