Neil Pryde RS5
 

Hi,

I am thinking about buying a second hand RS5 9.8 that is available. Can anyone remember how bad this particular size was for breaking masts? I know Neil Pryde withdrew all the sails from 10.7 upwards and the 580 X9 masts so maybe the problems occurred mostly in the larger sizes??

The problem with the RS5 was that the curve was a bit 'to much' so a lot of X9 masts broke, especially the 5.30-5.50-5.80 sizes.
