Technora vs. Wood construction

What are the advantages of Wood over Technora? Is it just weight?

in short: wood is lighter and stiffer. my experience owning wood and technora/dram boards: the smaller the boards gets, the less it bothers me.

check out other older posts. We've had this discussion over a dozen times before, even in the windsurfing school part.

I found the search menu after I posted this and did look up all the other topics. It is much more clear now. Kind of like the difference between carbon booms and aluminum. Not as much difference in smaller sizes but much more larger sizes.
