s type 104 maxing out
 

Hi Kevin,
I just managed to aquire a 2006 s-type 104 and went for my first ride today. It was only 12 knots and I knew i would be underpowered but i was pumped and put away the formula and went for it on the s-type regardless.

I was using an older 7.5 metre twin cam, and the stock drake 290 freerideflow fin.

I eeked out some planing after pumping my brains out and working the small waves, but the stock fin felt TINY.
how big would you fin and sail size before thinking you overdone both ??

Well I used the 104 with a bit smaller sail. For the 7.5 I would go with a 34 or 36cm fin. You can go with a MFC fin from our web site if you want :)
