Thanks

RE: New Boards

Hi Joe,
I haven't found the time to really check out the Phantom or Apollo yet
Was hoping to do that this week, but instead I've been working on ships all week.
I will post to this thread as soon as I have more time and experience with these boards.
The Serenity is simply awesome.
I sailed it with a 5.5 m2 Retro this past weekend in very gusty 8-12 knot winds, with a 58 cm Deboichet Concept fin and it was pretty much the fastest thing on the water when compared to an assortment of wider boards with sails up to around 9.0 m2.
The wider boards would plane a little in the gusts, but not in the lulls.
The Serenity just motored along at a much better average speed and even tried to "semi-plane" (the bow wave moves back almost to the mast foot) some of the time.
If you are really into sub marginal windsurfing, the Serenity is the right tool.
Hope this helps,
