Question for Starboard on 162 and FOD
 

i may want to get a 162 to replace my old 161 in early Jan 09.

what's the difference between 162 and a FOD board ?
can i use the 162 stock fin for FOD in future (if i decided to get a FOD rig ?)

any gap on performance on between 162 and FOD board (eg, weight, made etc...)

any other comments on these 2 boards ?

Yes is a very good question.... Will we can race in the 162 as FOD? what about the fin, we cqn use any Deboichet

Hi, to add on to the thread starter's question, what are the differences between the 161 and 162?

Is there much performance gain between the 2 in lightwind (8-12 knots)/stronger winds (12-15 knots)

This 2 board are the same but the FOD have an extra paint so is heavier by 300 grames.

This have no affect on the performances.

The FOD is One Design so the Fin have to be the one design one made by Deboichet Custom so better than the production Drake one who is deliver with the 162.
