Adjust the strap.

Hi Juan, maybe your sail just needs some more down/outhauling. Once adjusted, you can add pressure on the front foot by moving your body forwards, or the mast track, or the harness lines. Try one thing at a time.

a friend is telling me to move the mast track forward so this helps to avoid the sensation of loosing the strap.
whats your opinion?
regarding the"adjust the strap" , im sure is not the case.

Well I would start by flattening the sails, because you mention overpowered. If your sail is too deep, traction on your rear arm increases, and then your front foot tend to get out of the strap. Down/outhauling should rebalance the pressure forwards. If your sail is set properly and you still have the problem, try moving the mast track forwards. This can work as you adjust your body forwards. Otherwise, moving the harness lines backwards may increase traction on your front arm and pressure on your front foot, but this is more tricky.

Another thing that you might look into is the fin. If the fin is a bit too large or stiff for the conditions, it can make it difficult to keep one's front foot in the strap.

Lower your boom or
Mast foot forward
(apart from rigging the sail better)

Even when you're well tuned, having an enjoyable session, etc, sometimes a monster gust will come through, and then just grit your teeth ;-)))))))

yes its clear this was a case of overpowered in many ways
this day I was trying a new fin (vector canefire) very solid and fast
ok thanks to all

your feet are too far forward on the board and so the back foot is directly over the centre of lateral resistance.

re screw the straps further aft on the board
