What the German Windsurfing Association DWSV began last year at a lower level is going be a Big Event. surf Magazin Germany, Boot Show Duesseldorf and German Windsurfing Association DWSV have created a great voting poll to select every year the most popular windsurfers in national and international categories. 10 international and five national sailors are nominated for the international/national surfer of the year award. Voting poll takes place on the homepage of the surf-Magazin www.surf-magazin.de and on the web page of the German Windsurfing Association www.dwsv.net. Only online voting will be possible. You can win 5 boards and 2 sails. The winners will be honoured at the Beach World (Duesseldorf Boat Show Hall 1) on 20th January 2007. 4:30 p.m. After prize giving there will be a Mega Party with live music in the same hall together with the award winners.
