Which high wind board and which size

Hi,

I ( 87kg, advanced surfer )'m looking for a high-wind-flat-water-board for North- and Eastern Sea, additional to my Naish All Terrain 95.
I want to use it for 4.2 and 4.7.

Now I'm thinking about Evo 75, Acid 80 or Kode 80.
I prefer control, good planning and indirect behaviour in all conditions.

Which one do you recommend?

I think Kode 80 (or last yeas Acid 80) will work better than the EVO for this. It is a more controlled oriented shape.

Ok - and do you think that 80 is the right size?

Yes. I think the 86 will be a bit too close to your 95. It is an option if your priority is a big overlap (ie you like to step down to the small board as early as possible) more than perfect control with a 4.2. Also, if you sail a lot in gusty conditions the 86 is an option.

But for ultimate control with 4.7 and down, the 80 will be the perfect tool.

Have you sailed boards around 80 liter before?

20 years ago I had a F2 Starlit with 88l - and it worked.
But then I have made a break and startet with surfin' again 2 years ago - first on a JP x-cide 120l, then last year with Naish All terrain 95l and now...

Don
I'm your weight and I use Kombat86 + Acid74, my quiver is a bit more high wind oriented. For a 95l all-terrain, 80l Acid/Kode is an excellent step down (crossover sail around 4.5-5.0).
Ola asked an important question about small volume, but in appropriate wind (howling ;-) you'll get used to it fast.

Thanks for all advises and comments.
I will look for an Acid and if I can convince my finance minister for a Kode!
