fin sizes
 

Hi Kevin. John from Wanaka New zealand. I have purchased a futura 111. I'm 6ft4 and 14.5 stone. I have coming in the next few weeks a north 7.3 F9, and 2010 north s type 6.6 and x type 5.4. Cant wait !!!

Anyway most sailing will be on lake wanaka which is fresh water. Although I will go to the coast for some habour blasting in Dunedin now and then. I have 2 fins already for the futura. one is the the blake slalom 340 and a maui fin co 380 slalom. Are these right for the sail sizes and do I need another size fin. Most sailing is freeride / freerace. Can you tell me what is the ideal sizes for these 3 sails.

Hi John,

It sounds like they are in the ball park. I would try them out and see how they go. You are fairly tall so you might need a 42cm or something like that.
