iSonic 131 WoodCarbon 2010
Hi Kevin,

Would you have any tuning tips or general remarks regarding the new iS131 WoodCarbon, something you think it is important and that we would need time to find out and your remark would save us time and improve performance (e.g. base position, type and size of fins, footstraps, sails tuning etc.), something you find out while riding the board! :)

I have yet to get enough time on mine yet. In fact I haven't even received mine yet. So you will have to wait and I will let you know.

Yes it is amazing! Feels really good and been using it with the 47 R 16 Deb.

Mast track middle.

Footstraps middle.

Hi Kevin,

How is the 2010 131 compared to the 2009/2010 144 ?? I'm wondering what board to choice for light wind slalom (North RAM 8.4)

I would go with the 131 for the sail that you are using. It will be perfect. That board has a lot of range and lift to get you going in the the light wind slalom.

Hi Kevin,

Sailed the 131 for the first time last weekend, used it with a Select R51, at first i've had some problems going upwind (F9 8.4) any comments about the vin size ??

I would say to try out a different fin. As I have never tried the Select, I cant really say. I have been really enjoying the the 47 R 16 but if you are having trouble going upwind try something around the 52 range.

ok, thnx, i will try a drake 52 next week....

Sailed iS131 WC with Deb. R16sl 46cm and NP RS:Racing Evo II 7,8, and it was just GREAT in every aspect, speed, up and downwind, no spins ... just great!! The recommendation by Remi was absolutely correct. Still waiting for the new Evo II 8,6 to try the Deb R16sl 50cm!
