Which 70 cm fin for Apollo in racing context ?
--
Another question about Apollo: as someone wrote in previous posts (and as confirmed by ISAF in Approved Series Production Formula Board List: http://www.sailing.org/default.asp?PID=2084 ), Apollo boards might be used in next racing season, on condition that 75 cm original fin will be replaced by 70 cm one (as prescribed by Formula rules). Well, which 70 cm fin do you suggest if one wants to use Apollo in competitive racing context ? - Expander. |

Hi Expander,
The same as the F 161, so the R19 soft -- rake + 8 cm. All the best |

Thank you, Remi, for your reply. I suppose you have used original R19 Race NR Starboard fin (made by Drake on Deboichet design). Well, without taking anything to Drake Windsurfing fins, I ask if you want to venture a comment: do you think there is a perceptible difference (in terms of reflex, performances, etc.) between standard Drake R19 fin and Jean Jacques' original R19 ? What do you suggest for racing ? - Expander. |

Hi Expander,
We devellope the Formula and the Apolo, only with Custom fins and after we put on production the best fin. I confirm you for racing that the best fin we test on it is the Deboichet R19 soft -- rake + 8cm All the best |
