Wavesailing in Samoa/South Pacific?

Hi Scott,

Can you recommend a good place for Wavesailing in Samoa or on
other Islands in the South Sea?

My Plan is to go in February and at this time is tropical Summer there
and the Swells are mainly from North. Winds SO or N (Tropical Storms)

I will bring my own stuff (bigger Waveboard, 5.7 Sail)

Any Recommendations?

Thanks,

G'day
Yeah.
Samoa is a pretty radical place.
Upolu the main island would have some potential at salani resort I believe. Didn't stay there. We stayed at one surf camp that had wind and waves, but pretty gnarly reef.
Most of the stuff there is offshore reef stuff that would need a boat to get to.
we stayed a while on savaii which is probably the more potential and seen some fun looking footage from there, but alas the swell wasn't the right direction when were there.
We were there in may which was relying on south swells and se trades.
with the tropical storms I think you're just gonna have to wing it and go looking. There's waves all around the place basically.
Good cultural experience that one.
Regards
scott
