biggest sail on kode 122
 

Hi,

I would like to hear some opinions on which sail would be good as a biggest sail on my kode 122.

The sail would be the next step up from a ncx 7.5, my weight is 85 kg. I sail in Holland, so we don't always have steady winds.

please let me know if you would recommend:
-ncx 9.0
-overdrive 8.5
-element 8.5

I'm not sure what sail would be your biggest, however, I have the kode 112 and a 8.5 sail works really well on it with wind up to 20mph. I'm sure the 122 could easily handle a 9.0 if needed. Good luck. Due to the width of the boards, they easily carry big sails.

8,5 was working excellent. Would recommend you this size as the biggest. I was using the Glide in 8,5. The board was free and worked still fine on the upwind.

Do these boards really handle those big sails in such a way that is it actually a pleasure to sail?

I just boght a kode 112 2010 . Havent tried it yet . I have a ncx 8.0. Will this work fine with the kode 112 and the 38 cm fin supplied with it?

Hey guys,

I have made a decision: ordered an NCX 9.0
The C2 8.5 I used so far works very nice, since this is a sail with lots of bottom power I expect the ncx will give me better top speed and upwind performance. When it gets a bit too much I can chance down to a 7.5.

I sail the big sails with a select freerace 42 cm by the way.

and I am quite sure this ncx 8.0 will work quite nice on the kode 112 as well.

What fin is the ideal fin to go with kode 112 2010 and ncx 8.0?

It comes supplied with Drake Freeride Glide 38...
