Flare 88 or 98?
Can't decide whether to get the 2011 Flare 88 or 98?
I'm 74kg and will mostly use 5.0 and 4.5 but also my 5.7 when much lighter. Which size best suits this?
Also, not sure whether to get Wood or...

Hi,
I'm about 74kg and can spock, flaka, shaka, loop, etc so I'm really eying off the 88 in wood or possibly the new 2012 model. Will it be in wood and woodcarbon?
What's the minimum wind your...

I noticed Koster was ripping on the EvoIQ in pozo. It appeared really smooth and his style makes it all look so easy. I'm interested why he used this over the quad!? Would you say the EvoIQ offers a...

Quad v Kode
Noticed quite a few pro riders still have a single fin in their quiver for more onshore conditions or big waves (e.g. voget in sylt).
Just wondering are your quad riders still jumping onto the...

Kode 86 (wood) upgrade to woodcarbon or Flare 98?
Hi, I'm 74 kg and use the Kode 86 for a lot of 5.4 to 4.5 cross-onshore freeride/freestyle/wave type sailing in fairly choppy water. These are common summer seabreeze conditions which tend to support...

I'm 74 kg and have used the 71 quad (wood convertible) in powered 4.0 cross off and bump'n'jump. Excellent board. Feels more like 74 litres heading out through the waves but still compact and...

Well done to young Koster at Pozo!
Does anyone know what boards he is riding there and what his weight is?
Is it a Kode 74?

I used the Fanatic Freewave 88 for a number of years and now have switched to the Kode 86 (wood). The FW 88 was 5.9 kg so quite light and nimble for a board that size with a fairly hard & crisp ride,...

I'm 73kg and have been using the 2009 Kode 86 wood for a while now. I've tested it thoroughly in 15 to 25 knots for freeride, freestyle and wavesailing. It's a top board but I'm getting the sense the...

Kode 80 or 74
I am 73kg and enjoy mixing up freestyle and wavesailing, together with some freeride blasts.
I bought a Kode 86 wood last year which works great with a 5.3 for freestyle, freeride blasting and...

Ok thanks for that.
It's sounding like the K86 and K74 should cover most of my sailing pretty well, from lighter wind waves, freestyle to stronger winds and waves. I like the versatility of the K86,...

Kode 86 & 74 or Kode 80

I'm having trouble deciding which Kode(s) to get. I'm not sure whether to get a 86 Kode to cover light wind waves&freestyle plus a 74 Kode for...
