What I did was to take the board to a paint shop and they use a special tool for gauging the colour, then they can mix it up and put it in a aerosol for you.

Sounds like the fins, perhaps they are too soft. Write to Steve and let him know. Just ordered some Techart fins in the bigger sizes so will see how they perform and will let you know.
