I have tried various sails and by opinion I think that 5,8 is a good lower limit for that board. in choppy conditions use the 6,5 as the smallest sail (Essy Cheetah 6,5 in my case).

Try to get Your hands on a Starboard Acid 80 liters 2006 model. You can still find that boards in the stores. I did (Sweden). Its a real waveboard, but very, very rapid.

Yes, strong boards, it don`t matter if the boards weight is superior to the boards today. My Carve 99 (D-Ram) from 2000 is still going strong and i have used it a lot.
