I think the isonic is a step too far or at least for now, get those gybes nailed and the water starting perfected and you will then be ok on the isonic. I would look at getting an Atom 124, Carve 131...

Yes it's similar but wider and shorter, it will give you more manoeuvrability and be more stable. Yes you will feel underpowered in those winds at your weight, I could just about get away with a 7.5...
