Tried it NOT a good thing if you are over 120# and then it is so long you (they) can hardly turn it. Roger Jackson (Starboard/Sailworks) guy left one at our shop in Atlantic City NJ early last fall....

I've got really neat taller 12" higher aspect low...

I've got really neat taller 12" higher aspect low drag fins not to expensive>$50. I used this fin on my brothers 12'6" it really improve the hold & projection down the line

Maybe another could speak to this but I've sailed SUP's primarilly in the surf (and I'm a BIG guy 6'2 275#) I never use sails anywhere as big as 9 & 10M. SUP's are NOT high performance windsurfers...

I kinda agree with John but I gotta say the 12' has more glide (almost as much as 12'6) just easier to handle. The UB is fine but the narrower tail greatly reduces glide.
