85cm wide, think around 120litres, it has the advantage of being lighter than the i-sonic.

i had a go with 7.8m pryde racing sail and the board was easily big...

upwind the n. pryde felt better, for reaching/downwind i liked...

a 80kg person will benefit/plane quicker from changing from a 7.5m to a bigger size say a 9m or 10m.

for you the benefit will be much less.

i bought a tushingham rock 3.3m instead of 3.9m the fly. also had to buy second hand 370 mast x6 and small carbon boom to fit. good forecast 20/30 knots for tomorrow,can't wait. hope i use it more...

should be a good bit easier in 25 knots plus than my 5.0m.

race sails tend to be made not much less than 5.0m size.

in 35knots even on 4.0m very feware sailing and less sheeting in.

in 40knots, never saw anyone sail, unless in sheltered...

there is nothing stopping people using a non race sail on a formula board.

a large 5 or 6 battened very light sail could work great in very light winds on a formula board.

i use a 7.7m race...

thanks for advice.i will put seal below washer and tighten with larger screwdriver.
the fin i bought was second hand and was very loose fitting.
i had to pack it with heaps of fin cover sponge....

sailed today on 7.7m/fanatic75 combo.

no whitecaps at all but web shows blowing 8/14 knots.

only one sailing apart from few beginners.
