I guess ? this is breaking new ground, and the Team has never considered going with a larger fin. Or is indeed 22cm the max suggested by Starboard ?

in reference to the Flare 111, which comes with a Slotbox fin of 22cm in length.

so 4.0 sail..... multiply times 5 = 20 + 3 = 23cm fin

there are several "in the ball park" formulas for fin selection, since windsurfing is not a math type...

yes, the growth is not ballistic, but their are new sail companies, new board companies,
so the future is not quite so bleak. The ages I recall at Hood River this year are really wide spread.
