I've been using the same pair of open palmed neil...

I've been using the same pair of open palmed neil pryde gloves for a number of years. If it's just a little cool I don't hook in the thumb or finger tips - keeping the top of the hand covered helps....

I think 7.0 is too big for the board for most people. On the year newer board than yours, I've done ok with a 6.5 freeride sail, 30 cm fin & outboard footstraps, but even this "bogs down" the board...

I'm wondering what factors go into deciding what is the right freestyle board. It seems that, including starboard, that volumes range from about 90L to 115L and widths range from about 62cm to 68cm....
