Close into the shore it can get a little patchy due to the harbour wall upwind but once your out in the middle it is a very clean wind. Get yourself up wind for the cleanest and flatest conditions.

Never been in May so can't say if it is as good as June or not but the wind there relies on thermals so the warmer it gets the more reliable the wind generally. Beware the schools break up at the end...

If the two models of sails were the same and rigged on the correct masts and could be locked down I would say the 9.3 would definitely be quicker taking into consideration you were using the same fin.
