Hi Chris, I love the 120 and as you said it has a huge wind range. I have the 8.6 but would I gain much if I get a 9.0. I would also need to buy a 490 mast as I use the the OD R5 8.6 with the...

8.6-9.0 is the sweet spot size. Tracks up wind very well and better than 2015 107. I use a 44cm fin with the 7.8 and 8.6.

Hi Belskorpio, have you tried the 2015 107. I am 85kg and this board is great in 15-20 knots.
Its around 70cm wide which is what you were looking for. Another option would have been the Isonic 120...

Go the 120. This board has heaps of range and you want bottom end. I had the 2014 110 and I like the 120 a lot better. My weight is the same as you. The 7.8 or 8.6 both work great in light/ med wind.

Hi Marko, I hope Remi doesnt mind me answering this. I had a 2014 Isonic 90 carbon last year. I found this too be a great board but in 25-35 knots I was kinda wanting something a bit smaller. I got...

Go the 120,107 and 87. I ordered that combo boards and sails. I weigh 83kg. If the 8.6 is your biggest sail then with your weight you dont need anything bigger than a 120. The 120, 107 and 87 has a...

Have you considered a 107. With your weight it will have great bottom end (7.8). It can handle a 6.2 up to 30 knots no probs and is fast. 2014 is very special.

I would def go for the 86. I had 101, 76 and 86. The 86 has heaps of range and is still highly regarded as an awesome board. Definitely not too close to the 101. Make sure its from 2009 onwards. 2009...

Yes Mark I agree 107 and 127/130 if you are going to use a 9.3. If you want earlier planing go carbon. The 2013/14 carbon Isonics are more forgiving in chop than previous models.

I am using the 90% 460 Severne mast which is very similar to the Enigma 460.
I have OD 5.1 up to 8.6. They all rotate perfectly, best I have ever had with Severne race sails. All of them except the...

I love all the different answers. I have had the 107,110,117,122,127. My weight is 82kg. I think the 117 and 127 are too close in size and 107 and 110 are too close in size (to have both boards). I...

Hi Van, forgot about the width and go for the 110. Pretty easy decision really. The 97 and 110 will be a great combo and great range. Good luck.

I would also consider 117W with an 8.6. I am 82kg and this is my light wind choice. Can get planning in 10-12 knots. 127 with 9.2/9.6, you would probably get planning in 8-10 knots.

Hi mate, this is my 2 cents worth.
1. 121/122 and 7.8 ( better lower end).
2. Or the 107/ 7.8. ( better higher end).
3. Spend more dollars and get the 110 and an 8.6 with your extender ( I would...
