RE: Anybody try the Apollo Yet?
Hugh it seems logical that the Apollo would be slower once on the plane given the increased drag of the fin, but does the Apollo get planing earlier, in other words does it get planing in 6 knots of...

RE: increase sales and promote sport
Costco or any other big box retailer would have to be willing to take them in inventory. The problem I see with this distribution strategy is that windsurfing in its current form isn't plug-n-play...

RE: Military Coupe in Thailand
I think Svein is out of the Country attending Surf expo in the US and I bet he won't be able to get back in for a while. I cant imaging that its good for windsurfing since 90% of WS boards are made...

RE: Formula Windsurfing Worlds, Arnon and Gonzalo
It's still bad sportsmanship to leave early and bad mouth the Race Committee. It does sound like some questionable calls were made, but it certainly appears that many of the top guys where able to...

RE: Apollo, Way forward?
Remi,
For next year's Apollo, push the limit and lower the planning threshold as low as possible, dont restrict yourself to FW board limits and fin lenghts. If you guys can get the board to plane...

RE: Starboard Appollo/Formula Windsurfing
Ken,
I hear what you are saying, but shouldn't Starboard be applauded for attempting to lowering the planing threshold? Realistically TOW is the biggest factor in FW racing, gear is important but...

RE: NP forum
They are using the Extender to have a better extension system. At least they are innovating and trying to build a better system. Innovation in windsurfing seems rare these days and companies like...

RE: Apollo Vs F161
FW rules wind minimum is 8 knots not 6, however the best sailors can plane in 6. So the question is can the Steve Allen's of the world get this board to plane in 4 knots?
