No need for carbon extensions! But if you need only short extension dont use the long one. This disturbs the mast bending closed the lower end of the mast.

its just a feeling but I think the 2012 107 starts a bit earlier in planing and is very light. My carbon version without straps 6,15kg!! :-)) It gives a high and free feeling in planing....

90kg/184cm Reflex II 7,8qm: S2 38,5cm and 8,6 S2 39,5cm up to 40,5cm in light winds.
no need for bigger fins.
