Roger:

Thanks for additional input on the Apollo and the 75 cm fin. I don't mind running with the 75, I just will need to be a bit more careful coming into the beach and watch the tides.

It...

Joe:

I definitely think a Formula can handle chop a little better. In my opinion you can fly it on the fin and the leeward section of the rail a lot more easily, flying over the chop, both upwind...

RE: Mistral`s Hydroblade ??!!

I have the 2007 Mistral 114 Screamer with the Hydroblade.

Great board without the Hydroblade, planes incredibly early for its size, very fast, jibes well.

But I took the Hydroblade off after...

RE: Severne Overdrive 10.0?

Well, actually I am now leaning towards the Sailworks NXfw 9.9 and 8.5, as I already have a Sailworks 490 SpeedStick mast that would work with the 8.5.

In asking around I have heard nothing but...

Yes, I was there sailing on my Huckers, a 6.6 and 5.6, both in red and blue, and on my Mistral Screamer 114 and a rented Mistral Synchro 102. I too was way overpowered on my 5.6 Hucker on...

RE: iSonic 155 Vs Formula

RE: Please help in choosing a 9.5 sail - cam or no cam?

If you want to stick with the 490 mast, a 9.5 Retro rigs on a 490.

I have the 9.5 Retro, I use it with both my Formula Experience 160 and my HiFly Madd 162, great sail, very tunable. Easy to rig....

RE: F-type in 2007?

Winsup:

You probably can't go wrong either way, F-Type 158 or FE160. I started out with the F-Type 158 in 2005 (because of all the rave reviews here on the forum). I went to the F-Type 148 last...

RE: Help with recreational Formula Board choice...

Okay, I think I have it narrowed down to a 2007 F-161 or a 2006/2007 FE-160.

Can anyone provide any direct feedback between to the two of those, with regards to the early planing capabilities?
