If the boom does not work properly at it's maximum length of 240cm then why would the boom maker state it's maximum length is 240cm when it should only be used at say 235cm as it's maximum length so...

I reckon they should just use a wooden power line pole for a board (paint it white to keep the yacht club tossers happy) and use bed sheet tied to a broom stick for a sail.

Lightwind windsurfing is very boring and silly

I take issue with it being called windsurfing, it should have its own name so it is not an embarassment to real windsurfers, I think it should be called 'Pump boarding for skinny people' or something.
