I agree with Steve C here. A 36 cm Lessacher Design Duo would be very good.
I'd also give your 43 cm weed fin a try.
Weed fins have alot more area than vertical fins, and for the Carve 161 a 43 cm weed fin is about as large as you would ever want to go.
If you 43 cm is a Tuttle or Deep Tuttle and will fit in the C-161, I'd give it a try before buying another weed fin.
